Continuing Education is one of the missions of the I-Day Committee and the insurance industry as a whole. In 2002, the Committee instituted a Scholarship Fund, sponsored by CPCU, SIP, IIACNY, and Syracuse Claims Association.  Two scholarships are awarded to children or grandchildren of:

  • an employee of an active agency that belongs to at least one of the sponsoring organizations above.
  • an employee of an active company that belongs to at least one of the sponsoring organizations above.
  • an active member of one of the sponsoring insurance organizations above.

Based on academic achievementand community service guidelines, outlined in the eligibilityrequirements, two scholarships of up to $2,000 are awarded tostudents chosen by the committee after review of all submissions.
