Continuing Education is one
of the missions of the I-Day Committee and the insurance industry as a whole. In 2002, the Committee instituted a Scholarship Fund, sponsored by CPCU, SIP, IIACNY, and Syracuse Claims Association. Two
scholarships are awarded to children or grandchildren of:
an employee of an active agency that belongs to at least one of the sponsoring organizations above.
an employee of an active company that belongs to at least one of the sponsoring organizations above.
an active member of one of the sponsoring insurance organizations above.
Based on academic achievementand community service guidelines, outlined in the eligibilityrequirements, two scholarships of up to $2,000 are awarded tostudents chosen by the committee after review of all submissions. Scholarship Application & Instructions
